BabygartenParents are invited to bring their children (ages 0-3) to the Family Center (T-15), from 2:00-3:00 PM on January 14, 20, and 27, for Babygarten, hosted by the Arlington Public Library.

Family Reading Night

Thursday, 2/5, 6:00-7:00 PM. Parents and grandparents are invited to spend time reading with their children and learning new strategies to encourage their readers.

Spring Dance

Spring Dance, 2/12Parents and students are invited to participate in Atherton's Spring Dance on Thursday, February 12, at 5:00 PM, in the cafetorium. 

Parenting Classes (in English and en epañol)

Parents are invited to attend free classes from 9:00-11:00 AM on January 7, 14, 21, and 28 in the Family Center (T-15). Participants will learn strategies and skills to help with parenting. Each parent will also receive household items worth approximately $30 every visit.

Clases en epañol: 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 3/10, 2/17, 2/24, 3/3

This event is hosted by the Catholic Charities.

Families First ClassFamilies First will be providing a free class for parents for 9 weeks at Atherton, starting November 12. Parents who attend will receive household items worth around $30 each week. 

 Volunteer Opportunities Minimize

Back to SchoolIt takes a village. Parents (and grandparents, uncles, and aunts), if you are looking for a way to help make your school the best that it can be, consider volunteering. There are many great ways that you can help, at all different times of the day or at special events. Volunteering is easy. Just complete the online form at and bring an ID to the school office.
