National Random Acts of Kindness Week is February 10-14. Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate. Random Acts of Kindness is a movement where kindness is shared with no expectation of the favor being returned, yet if someone shares kindness with you, you must pass it on. You can plant the seed of kindness and watch it grow.
This year, Beckham will celebrate all month by “Planting the Seeds of Kindness.” On the wall across from Mrs. Dunn’s office, we will be growing a garden of kindness. Please write down your acts of kindness on the flowers provided to the teachers. Then, when you have teacher permission, come tape or glue the flowers to our garden. Our goal is to have 1,500 acts of kindness done by February 28, 2014.
