Seguin Summer Workout Schedule
 
-Summer Workout June 9th - July 17th, Monday-Thursday, Times 8:30am – 10:30am MUST have physical
(NOTE – June 30th –July 17th Summer Workout will be at Ousley Jr High Football Field)
-Team Building Workouts 6pm – 8pm, Monday-Thursday
-No workouts on July 3rd and 4th
-Must get in 16 of the 23 workouts
-Incoming Freshman, Eighth and Seventh grade Free Camp August 4th -7th 9am-10:30am at Seguin HS
-August 5th and August 7th are Cougar Nights – Team Leaders lead Conditioning and Basketball
-First day of Practice August 11th 6pm.  MUST have physical and all paperwork turned in to practice.

Free Seguin Football Camp
 
Who: 2014 9th, 8th and 7th Graders
Where: Seguin Football Stadium
When: August 4th – 7th ; 9am-10:30am
Objective: To Learn Seguin’s football
system, meet the coaches and have FUN!

 

               

$10 physical at Ousley

Ousley will have Dr. Tina Bennett-Burton, D.C. from Park Central Chiropractic on campus on Friday, August 15th. Physicals will be from 1:00-4:00. The cost is $10 CASH, paperwork needs to be completed before coming in. Copies of the physical paperwork may be picked up at schedule card pick up on Wednesday or Thursday the 13th and 14th of August.

Results from the City Track & Field Championship Meet on 4/14/14 to 4/16/14

 

7th Grade Girls are the 2014 City Champions.  They won the track meet with 109 points beating out Ferguson by 17 points. They won a total of 10 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, and 4 Bronze Medals

7th grade girls Results:

400 meter relay team (1st Place) – Zaitah Hunter, Skylar Williams, Timia Jefferson, Kiara Sibley 

800 meter relay team (1st Place ) – Zaitah Hunter, Skylar Willams, Kiara Sibley, Carley McCullough

1600 meter relay team (4th Place) – Sabryn Ivory, Timia Jefferson, Sumaiyah Abdur-Rahim, Trinity Colbert

Zaitah Hunter – 1st Place Triple Jump, 3rd Place 100 meters, 6th place Long Jump

Kaia Brooks – 1st Place Shot Put

Skylar Williams – 2nd Place 200 meters

Timia Jefferson – 1st Place 400 meters

Makiyah Underwood – 3rd Place 400 meters

Trinity Colbert – 3rd Place 1600 meters , 4th Place 800 meters

Imagine No Violence Art Contest Winner       

Out of 40,000 entries from Arlington, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Birdville and Kennedale, Ousley Junior High art student Madaline S. won the grand prize for the Imagine No Violence Art Contest at the middle school level. The contest was sponsored by the Ft. Worth Safe City Commission. Students were challenged to create a piece of artwork reflecting the idea of a world without violence. Madaline and her family will be going on an all expense paid trip to Disney World. Congratulations!
