|Back to School Kickoff at ATT Stadium|
The AISD Back to School Kickoff event will be hosted by the Arlington Independent School District and co-hosted by the Arlington NAACP, Junior League of Arlington, Churches of Arlington, The Gene and Jerry Jones Family North Texas Youth Education Town, and the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation. | 1st Annual Earn, Save, Spend and Donate school-wide project! |
Webb Wallabies did an awesome job with their 1st Annual Earn, Save, Spend and Donate school-wide project! Students earned money doing chores at home and then brought their earnings to school to save. They raised $1,321.22. This money was spent on critical needs items for the Arlington Life Shelter, such as laundry detergent, paper towels, cups, bowls, and plastic silverware. Pictured are Mrs. Davis and her third grade class.

|First Tee Golf Program visits Sixth graders at Webb Elementary.|
First Tee golf program visited the sixth graders at Webb Elementary
on Monday, Feb. 2. The First Tee golf program helps shape
the lives of kids and teens from all walks of life by introducing
them to the values in the game of golf. Values like integrity,
respect and perseverance are modeled. From birdies to triple
bogeys, golf closely parallels real life as players experience
the highsand lows of the game. For more information on

|Webb Elementary Fifth Grade Teachers Win Technology Innovation Grant!|
Congratulations to Ms. Luna, Ms. Shaw, Dr. Halbert, Mr. Nunez, and Ms. Mifsud!
Fifth grade teachers applied for and won a Transformation Through Innovation Grant
for the 2014 - 2015 school year. The entire Arlington ISD Instructional Technology
Department presented the grant to the excited fifth grade teachers. The grant will pay
for technology for the classrooms for all fifth grade students to utilize.
