School Report Card

Young Junior High's overall educational performance can be tracked over the course of the past several years by clicking on the links below. The report, known as the AEIS(Academic Excellence Indicator System) pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. This information is put into the annual AEIS reports, which are available each year in November. The performance indicators include:

  • Results of Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS); by grade, by subject, and by all grades tested;
  • Participation in the statewide assessment programs (TAKS/TAKS(Accommodated)/TAKS-M);
  • Progress of Prior Year TAKS Failers;
  • Results of Student Success Initiative;
  • Attendance Rates; and
  • Annual Dropout Rates

Performance on each of these indicators is shown disaggregated by ethnicity, special education and economically disadvantaged status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, finances, programs and demographics. As is required by the Texas Education Agency, our school report card for the 2010-2011 school year can be found here . The school report card contains information about such things as class sizes, TAKS passing rates, and dropout rates.
