AHS Step Team1. Why should someone want to join the Step Team? Because it is a family filled environment, gives you a chance to step outside the box. Step Team is a place for change. Someone is always there for you to talk to.You get the opportunity to try something new, not only will you learn new things you will learn to work together and show others what happens when a diverse group of people come together. 2. What do you think Step Team is all about? Togetherness and ambition. Coming together as one and sounding as one person. It is not just about stepping but bonding with different kinds of people. It is a confidence builder.. It's a way of lifting yourselves up by expressing yourself in the way you step or step it up. We tap into the weakness of someone and make it a strength, faith, family love, and all together maturity not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well as socially. A sister and brotherhood we stick together because we love to step. Respect and being comfortable around each other, Academics first and then building ourselves to become the best as one. Our Motto: " We step up to Academics first before we Step to impress"
3. Why would you want your student to join Step Team? It will not only help socially but academically. If you joined the Step Team you would become a confidence builder. It gives them a reason to make good grades and pass all classes as well to reflect leadership skills in the classroom. It helps with self confidence, gives a chance to broaden their minds on the perspective of getting along with others but also finding their true selves. You will gain positive things, we have a good time"You will remember this experience for the rest of your life"
4. Why we think we are the best here? Because we have a way of bringing the best out of a bad situation/person. We listen and can relate. We perform at a higher level than most. We step with our heart and soul. Stepping is not a job or a option it's just what we do.
5. What makes being a Colt worth it? Honor!! It helps you become a better person, that you were involved in a school that have a open mind to allow you to express yourself in a way that may not be understood by all, but yet it still brings morale to all.
