Spectrum Club
The purpose of the Spectrum Club is to provide a safe community of peers for students:
- to seek counsel and openly voice their opinions about the gay, bisexual and lesbian community
- to have an open place where students can find information, guidance, and support through meeting others
- to be an informational meeting place where those who are interested may find information on the social aspects of the gay, lesbian and bisexual communities, such as events, information, and places where they can get help or guidance.
The Spectrum Club is open to any AHS student as long as they resolve to maintain good behavior, show respect for all and follow school rules throughout the meetings. It is open to gay or straight students alike.
