You are here:  Administration » 7th Grade Counselor

I am glad to serve as the seventh grade counselor at Workman Junior High. This school year is my third year with Arlington ISD, my most recent experience being a Ninth Grade School Counselor at Bowie High School. Prior to moving into counseling, I was a special education teacher.
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts from Prairie View A&M University, Special Education certification from Tarleton State University and Master of Education in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.
Some suggestions I would give to a parent of a junior high student are get to know how the junior high school works differently from the elementary school and be informed of your child’s progress.   Know the names of your child’s teachers and their e-mail addresses. E-mail is a great tool to use to stay abreast of what is going on with your child.
I’m passionate about helping each student to reach their highest potential academically, socially and emotionally.   Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Lesia Rogers
