Welcome.  I have been teaching for three years now in the same classroom I was taught as a student.  I am a graduate of Martin High School and am thrilled to be back at one of the premier high school in the area.  I also graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with degrees in Interpersonal Speech Communication and History.  The ablility to communicate is a skill that goes largely overlooked and underappreciated.  My goal is to make every student I can into mature and confident communicators, both in one-on-one situations and in group situations.  If we can eliminate even a little of the miscommunication that occurs today, we would lead much simpler lives.  That is my goal for each one of my classes.
