Welcome to my site.

I have been a teacher in the Arlington Independent School District since 1974. Since that time, I have taught at several schools in Arlington, but James Martin High School has been my home since 1995.  My three sons all graduated from Martin, and my husband and I continue to reside in the Martin community.

I have the great fortune to teach some of the finest students in the world.  This year I will be working with them in Advanced Placement European History, Advanced Placement World History, and Academic Decathlon. History and World Affairs are my passions. I hope that at the end of the year my students will say that they learned some history in my class,but my fondest wish is that they will say that they enjoy history because of the class.
