Welcome to my site! This is my sixth year teaching English at Martin, and this year I have all English II classes. I've also taught English III and English IV, and I teach a Shakespeare elective (when enough students sign up for it!).
I grew up in Arlington; I myself am a product of the AISD, graduating from Arlington High School. I attended TCU for my bachelor's degree, and this summer I completed a master's degree in English at UTA. My husband is a Martin grad, so he finds it amusing that I now teach here - with his former teachers, in some cases!
I enjoy reading, cooking, making jewelry/cards/anything creative, playing The Sims 3, and watching TV and movies in my free time. I live with my husband and our two dogs (one Shih Tzu and one Cavalier King Charles spaniel) in a house that is quickly running out of room for us and all our junk! We have a baby son who is currently in the hospital awaiting a heart transplant, so I drive to Dallas quite often.
