Welcome

I am delighted to be teaching your children about geology and chemistry.  I have been teaching in the Arlington School District for 33 years.  I have been teaching geology at Martin since it opened in 1982.  I also taught biology for many years.  I have been teaching chemistry along with geology for the past 9 years.

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Geology.  I earned a M.Ed. in Science Education with a minor in Physics from the University of North Texas.

In addition to teaching, I am also the sponsor and league coordinator for the Academic Quiz League, and a computer technology trainer (I help teach the teachers).

My wife, Carol, is also a teacher here at Martin, and both of my sons, Patrick and Jeff, graduated from Martin.
