Welcome

Welcome to My Website

William Evans

I have had the opportunity to teach at Martin since the year it opened.  It has been a great experience.  Currently I am teaching POE and EDD on "A" days only.  I teach 1/2 time since I retired 4 years ago.  I really enjoy the classes I teach and was very happy when they ask me to come back and teach Engineering.

Principles of Engineering is a class designed to give students an experience in
a project in several areas of engineering. Students will work in groups of two,
three and sometimes four. All projects are center around problem solving and
critical thinking. Each student is expected to contribute to the group and not set
back and relax.
Engineering Design and Development is a class where students are divided
into groups and will go through the process an engineer would do to try and solve
a complex problem. Students will go through the process of choosing teams,
researching problems, offering a solution, building a prototype and giving an oral
presentation to a panel of engineers. This is an in depth full year project.
