Maryann White
Asst. Principal
This is my fourth year at Blanton Elementary. It is a pleasure to work and serve the community of Blanton.. I view it as an honor to work with the parents, children, faculty, and staff, at Blanton. Every day is a new and exciting adventure. Thank you for letting me be a part of your child’s life.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University, majoring in Education and in History. I went on to earn my Master’s Degree from University of Texas in Arlington, majoring in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. I am a life-long learner and love to share that passion with my students.
This is my 17th year in education. During these years I have taught First, Second, Fourth, and Fifth grades. After earning my Master’s Degree, I began my journey as an Assistant Principal. I have had the privilege to serve Arlington ISD for the past eight years as an administrator.
I am committed to ensuring a successful and memorable year for all students. As an administrator and instructional leader, I believe that successful educators must exhibit a positive “can do” attitude. With this attitude the community is served, the children are embraced for their uniqueness, and the daily achievements in their education are celebrated.
Together we will cultivate relationships, establish high expectations for our children and give them the tools to achieve their personal best, supporting our students so they are passionate about the life-changing power of education. Through teamwork, we will make a positive difference in the life of each Blanton Eagle.
With this in mind, my door is always open. I look forward to seeing or hearing from you.
