"Education is the passport to our future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today"

I was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. I moved to Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 18 where I recieved my Bachelors degree in Social Work from Morgan State University. I discovered my love for teaching while working with students as a Social Worker, that was over 10 years ago. My family and I moved to Texas in the year 2000 where I began my career as a Special Education teacher. I am currently assisting Special Education students in the General Education setting through In Class Support. I recieved my Masters in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas at Dallas. I am married to my college sweetheart, Rafiel, and we have four beautiful children, Imani, Armani, Justin and Brandon.
