As the school nurse, I will be taking care of your child during any illness or injury.  The following are AISD guidelines and policies:

KEEP YOUR CHILD AT HOME WHEN:

• Child has a temperature of 100 degrees or more
• Child has diarrhea or vomiting  
• Child has a rash of unknown origin
• Child has red, runny eyes or wakes up with eyes “glued” shut

MEDICATIONS (Including prescriptions and over the counter meds) must be  kept in the clinic with a DOCTOR’S AND A PARENT’S signature authorizing permission for dispensing the medication at school.  This includes cough drops and any other over the counter meds.  The  meds must be in original container.

Keep all phone numbers (home, work and cell) current at school including any emergency contacts.  You never know when your child may need you.  If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to call me.
