Grade Information

On Monday, October 11, 2010 the TEAMS Parent Self Serve portal became available. This portal will allow parents to register for access to view grade and attendance information for their children.  Parents will register online and then receive instructions to go to the campus with a photo ID to complete the authorization process.  A parent with multiple children should only register once.

Parent Self Serve Registration Instructions will be available on the Parent Self Serve registration web page.
Parent Self Serve Usage Instructions will be available on the Parent Self Serve registration web page.

Students may also register and view their own grades and attendance. This is a simple process and the student simple needs to contact the data clerk or counselor at his school to complete the process.

Principal's Message

What a great honor it is to be the Principal of such an outstanding educational community. The staff of Carter Junior High is dedicated to providing the highest quality of education for the children who attend our school. We believe in working as partners with parents and community to provide a positive school environment where children feel safe and secure. Children are held to high expectations and are encouraged to develop their optimal academic, social and personal potential.

Parent involvement is a key component of student success. We appreciate parent support with your child’s homework and school projects. We encourage you to get involved by volunteering on campus through our various committees and/or organizations.  Volunteers play an important role in enriching the programs we are able to provide. I encourage you to contact me at snix3@aisd.net  with any questions or concerns.  We are extremely glad to have you with us, and we welcome you to the Carter Family.

Sam Nix, Principal

Counselor's Corner

Contact the school counselors if you have any questions about registration. Bring shot records, proof of residency (water bill, gas bill, electric bill, signed lease), a photo ID of parent/guardian, money to pay outstanding fines...and your best smile for your ID.

Call our school and ask for either Ms. Arlethia Davis or Ms. Kiersta Garcia if you have questions.
