What a great honor it is to be the Principal of such an outstanding educational community. The staff of Carter Junior High is dedicated to providing the highest quality of education for the children who attend our school. We believe in working as partners with parents and community to provide a positive school environment where children feel safe and secure. Children are held to high expectations and are encouraged to develop their optimal academic, social and personal potential.

Parent involvement is a key component of student success. We appreciate parent support with your child’s homework and school projects. We encourage you to get involved by volunteering on campus through our various committees and/or organizations.  Volunteers play an important role in enriching the programs we are able to provide.  Contact the school counselors if you have any questions about registration. Bring shot records, proof of residency (water bill, gas bill, electric bill, signed lease), a photo ID of parent/guardian, money to pay outstanding fines...and your best smile for your ID.
