A Successful Joint Venture with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Veda Knox

  (Ms. Yvonne Harris-DuPont, Principal along with  members of Xi Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.)

 Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Xi Theta Omega Chapter, Arlington, Tx distributed 16 backpacks filled with grade specific school supplies for 2 students per grade level at Veda Knox Elementary who were deemed economically disadvantaged by the school's administration.  Members also provided toppings (chocolate, caramel, strawberry and sprinkles) for the ice cream social along with helping serve and clean up aftewards.
