The Library Services Department serves the district's 73 school libraries in many capacities. Book orders for the campus libraries come through Library Services, where they are checked for accuracy, books are processed and sent out to libraries. The school book budgets are monitored, purchase orders are written, and periodical subscriptions are ordered and maintained for each campus. A professional library is housed and maintained at Library Services.The Language Arts Coordinator oversees the program, and the Library Specialist assists and supports the librarians and library assistants with problems, procedures, and inquiries, and planning staff development activities for all library personnel.
