MILLER MOTTO: "Where Learning is for all!"
Starting Monday, Feb. 13, all AISD schools will have a new visitor check-in system called Raptor. All visitors will be asked to present a valid state-issued ID to be scanned into the system in our Front Office . Visitors will receive a badge with photo, name, and date. Please wear this badge at all times while on campus and be sure to check out in the Office when leaving. Thanks for your cooperation.

Dear Miller Parents,
I’m soliciting your cooperation in addressing some of our parking and traffic issues, especially at the end of the school day. First, please adhere to the posted No Parking signs both in front of the school and on Silver Wind Ct., the cul-de-sac immediately to the west of Miller. The occupants of the residence on Silver Wind Ct. are not able to access their driveway on many days, both before and after school. Furthermore, on more than one occasion, the behavior of adults who have been blocking their driveway has not been respectful or polite.
Second, please refrain from parking between the “Bus Only” signs on Pleasant Ridge. Our buses use that area to board students in the afternoon. The Arlington Police Department has ticketed in the past for illegal parking and will do so again.
Third, we have two drive-through lanes that must be kept open at all times. If there is no room to park adjacent to a curb, please consider parking across the street and using the crosswalks to pick up your students.
I know how frustrating the traffic can be, especially at dismissal when over 800 students are leaving the building within a ten minute period of time. But I also know that a little bit of patience and personal responsibility can go a long way in solving small problems before they grow into big problems.
Thank you for your help in addressing these matters!
Sincerely,
Christopher Chamberlain
