Professional Development
Our goal:
To assist with ensuring that every educator in the Arlington Independent School District is able to engage in effective professional learning every day so EVERY student succeeds.
In order to achieve this, the main functions of our department are to:
- develop a design for professional development that is results-driven, standards-based and job-embedded
- provide access to facilities for professional development
- support , consult and assist in designing professional development that is in alignment with district and campus goals
- work with central and campus administrators, as well as curriculum support personnel to determine the overall needs for the district and ultimately the teachers on campuses
