Coach Sherrie Panter is in her 9th year at Ferguson Junior High. She has taught 29 years which include teaching/coaching at Waxahachie Junior High, Waxahachie High School, Shackelford Junior High, then Ferguson Junior High. (I bet she would tell you she began her teaching career at the age of 10 :)
Coach Panter graduated from UT at Arlington with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and Health. Over the years Coach Panter has coached a variety of sports on the Junior High - High School level such as: volleyball, basketball, cross country, track, tennis and softball.
During her spare time, Coach Panter enjoys walking (long distances-3Day 60 mile walk for Breast Cancer) biking, snow skiing, tennis, mission trips, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
She enjoys teaching Physical Education, Coaching the Lady Titans, coordinating the Hoop for Heart Program, sponsoring the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and working with her Ferguson collegues.
Coach Panter is anticipating a rewarding and successful year with the Physical Education students and the athletes at Ferguson Junior High.
