I am very fortunate to work at Ferguson Junior High and believe it is a great place to be! I look forward to all the great things that the future holds for the Ferguson Family.

Coach Sherrie Panter is in her 9th year at Ferguson Junior High.  She has taught 29 years which include teaching/coaching at Waxahachie Junior High, Waxahachie High School, Shackelford Junior High, then Ferguson Junior High.  (I bet she would tell you she began her teaching career at the age of 10 :)

Coach Panter graduated from UT at Arlington with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and Health.  Over the years Coach Panter has coached a variety of sports on the Junior High - High School level such as: volleyball, basketball, cross country, track, tennis and softball.

During her spare time, Coach Panter enjoys walking (long distances-3Day 60 mile walk for Breast Cancer) biking, snow skiing, tennis, mission trips, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

She enjoys teaching Physical Education, Coaching the Lady Titans, coordinating the Hoop for Heart Program, sponsoring the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and working with her Ferguson collegues.

Coach Panter is anticipating a rewarding and successful year with the Physical Education students and the athletes at Ferguson Junior High.

Coach Jennifer Duffer is in her 5th year as an educator. She came to Ferguson this year from the Lewisville School District where she taught for 3 years. Coach Duffer Graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton with a Bachelors in Education. As well as being one of Ferguson's 8th grade US History teachers, she also coaches volleyball, basketball, and track. Sports have always been a big part of Coach Duffer's life and taught her to set high goals and to put forth nothing but her best effort.

During the months of summer Coach Duffer spends even more time around Junior High students directing Camp on the Move, a summer camp for kids ages 7-14. When not at school or camp, Coach Duffer spends time doing anything that keeps her active such as camping, water sports, various recreational sports, and spending time with friends and family.

She is excited to join the Ferguson family and is looking forward to a year full of learning, adventure, and excitement.

This will be my 5th year at Ferguson Junior High as Head Volleyball coach and Math teacher. Prior to coming to Ferguson, I played club volleyball at the University of Texas at Arlington and other USAV teams for 5 years. I also coached for various volleyball clubs in the area for 7 years, and was fortunate enough to coach for ACE a majority of that time. I am a graduate of the University of Texas here in Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor of Mathematics and Biology.

I am looking forward to another great year here at Ferguson Junior High!
