Technology applications

Conference period: 12:15-1:10

If you have questions or concerns, please call (682) 867-0700 and leave your name, your child's name, and a number where you can be reached; I will return your call as soon as possible.

Technology applications is a one-semester course taught to eighth-grade students at Bailey Junior High. Students learn to use applications that deal with typing skills, word processing, spreadsheets, images, multimedia presentations, programming in Logo, data management, and some Web design.

My classroom expectations are as follows:

1. Walk into the room calmly and sit in your assigned seat before the tardy bell rings.
2. Begin work immediately on keyboarding skills.
3. When necessary, help the students beside you without touching their computer or their files.
4. Please limit talking to discussing computer assignments at appropriate times.
5. Follow school rules.
