Science Rocks!
Welcome to Bailey Junior High! In eighth-grade science, we cover the interactions of the Earth's systems throughout the year. We use many hands-on techniques to explore these interactions in a laboratory environment. Also, we incorporate research, computer technology, and review assignments into our learning.
This is going to be a GREAT year for you in eighth-grade science! I want to provide you with a learning environment that will make it possible for each of you to be able to do your best and succeed! I have high expectations for each one of you. Therefore, anytime that you need help, please let me know. If you need extra help, I can meet with you before or after school. My conference period is 8:55 - 9:45.
Classroom Expectations
1. Be on time with all necessary supplies.
2. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
3. Follow the teacher's directions.
4. Communicate only with permission. Do not get out of your chair without permission.
5. Follow all school rules as stated in the student handbook.
