Teaching was my chosen career beginning with my sophomore year of High School. Since graduating from NTSU (currently UNT) in the late 70's, I have taught various levels of French, German and also Math courses in schools all over North Texas. My Masters in Library Science was completed during the summer of 1994 just before starting my assignment here at MHS.

Since coming to Martin, I have taught in both the Math and Foreign Language departments. Currently I am lead teacher for the French department. I love my job and basically feel that I get paid to do what I love to do - speak French and eat cake! Having the chance to introduce students to other cultures and increase their chances of interacting on a global basis is a great way to spend the day.
