Welcome.  My name is Fran Johns.  I've been a special education teacher at Martin High School for thirteen years.  I graduated, in 1980, from St. Francis College in Loretto, Pennsylvania.  I received my alternative certification from Region XI in 1999.  I am married and have two sons.  Although I have taught all the different levels of resource math, I now teach the resource pre-algebra sections.  It is my hope to transition as many students as I can to regular Algebra 1, while still making math fun for all my students.
