Welcome to my website! This is my first year at Martin and I am excited to be teaching biology. I have been a resident in Arlington for 12 years. I earned a master's degree in biology from UTA in 1998. My area of research was quantitative genetics. My classroom is one of active learners engaged
in “hands on” learning, critical thinking, and student centered
instruction. My students are risk
takers, thinkers, and goal-oriented. I believe that it is my personal
relationships with my students and my passion for learning that foster an
environment rich in community. I am a life long learner, and believe that
continuing education is necessary to uphold the best standards of current teaching
strategies.
