Welcome

I am delighted to be teaching your children about Earth Space Science and Pre-AP chemistry.  I have been teaching in the Arlington School District for 35 years.  I have been teaching Earth and Space Science (or some variety of geology) at Martin since it opened in 1982.  I also taught biology for many years.  I have been teaching chemistry along with geology for the past 10 years.

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Geology.  I earned a M.Ed. in Science Education with a minor in Physics from the University of North Texas.

In addition to teaching, I am also the sponsor and league coordinator for the Academic Quiz League.

My wife, Carol, is also a teacher here at Martin, and both of my sons, Patrick and Jeff, graduated from Martin.
