I am so blessed to work here and to teach your precious children! I graduated from Texas Tech and I have been teaching at Martin since 1997. I was the speech and debate coach for seven years.  Currently, I teach Communication Applications (Speech) and Debate I. My goal is to have your children learn how to communicate better and become confident public speakers and debaters. For Communication Applications, we will focus on verbal and nonverbal communication, stage fright, listening, job interviews, group communication, and much more.  For Debate I, students will write and research their cases (papers) on both sides of a topic, debate various topics, compile and perform speeches.  If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail me.
