Welcome to my site! This is my fourth year teaching English at Martin, and this year I have all English II classes. I've also taught English III and English IV, and I teach a Shakespeare elective (when enough students sign up for it!).
I grew up in Arlington; I myself am a product of the AISD, graduating from Arlington High School. I attended TCU for my bachelor's degree, and I am currently working on a master's degree in English at UTA. My husband is a Martin grad, so he finds it amusing that I now teach here - with his former teachers, in some cases!
I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, sewing (though I'm not very good at it yet), playing The Sims 2, and writing in my free time (what is that? I've forgotten...). I live with my husband and our two dogs (one Shih Tzu and one Cavalier King Charles spaniel) in a house that is quickly running out of room for us and all our junk!
