Staff development that improves the learning of all students should deepen educators' content knowledge and provide them with research-based instructional strategies to ensure student success.
Please model professional learning in the following ways:
¤ Honor presenters and other participants by arriving on time for sessions.
¤ Turn off or place cell phones on silent.
¤ Make arrangements for childcare for your children since professional development sessions are not designed to accommodate these needs.
¤ Listen with respect, positive intent and understanding.
¤ Engage actively in your learning.
¤ Plan on attendance for the entire session. Should a conflict arise that prohibits you from doing so, please notify your presenter.
