 Welcome
The Workman library is the largest junior high library in A.I.S.D. because  this school used to be Bowie High School. We have over 16,000 books. We have Reading Counts as an incentive reading program for you to access. You may check out three books for three weeks at a time. We also have 19 student computer workstations for you to use. We subscribe to 18 magazines and the Fort Worth Star Telegram newspaper for you to read in the library. As you can see from our home page, we have many online databases and other online resources free for your use. Passwords and IDs are available at the circulation desk, as well as at each computer. You may access these in the library or at home. I look forward to assisting you in the library and welcome any of your suggestions for new materials. We have a book club that meets during lunch in the library two days in a row every six weeks. I hope you will come and join us if you want to read the same book with a group of students in your grade.
