Students are enrolled in honors classes and the AVID elective
•The mission of AVID is to ensure that all students, especially students capable of completing a college prep path will:
– succeed in the most rigorous curriculum
– enter mainstream activities of the school
– increase their enrollment in 4-yr college
– become educated and responsible participants and leaders in a democratic society.

•94.3% of AVID students report enrolling in college

– Passed TAKS
– B/C student (needs to be able to handle extra work of honors classes)
