Due to the hard work of the students, parents, teachers, and staff, Ashworth Elementary has once again been rated EXEMPLARY!

At tonight's School Board Meeting, Ms. Rhonda Greer was announced as our new Principal. Ms. Greer started her teaching career in 1994 as a fifth- and sixth-grade teacher in the Keller ISD. While there, she was named Teacher of the Year. In 2002, Greer came to the Arlington ISD as the instructional facilitator at Burgin Elementary. She was named assistant principal at Foster Elementary in 2004. This school year, she has served as principal at the Chapel Hill Academy Charter School operated by the Lena Pope Home. Ms. Greer holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman’s University and a master’s degree from Texas Christian University.
A welcome reception will be held in Ms. Greer’s honor on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Ashworth Library. Please join us to meet the new Principal!
