Spelling Bee Champion!

 

Our very own Helen H., 6th grade, won the district spelling bee on February 8th. She was up against students from all over the district, and beat out an 8th grader for the title! Helen will compete at the regional competition this spring. Way to represent our Broncos, Helen!

100th Day of School!

On February 1st, we celebrated our 100th day of school with a special guest - Mrs. Bounds' great great grandmother! She is 100 years old!

Dear Butler Parents,

I need your help! I am in need of substitute cafeteria monitors. If you love coming to Butler during lunch time, please consider this position.

Cafeteria monitors work from 10:30-1:30 and help monitor kids, dismiss to recess, and clean up the cafeteria. The position pays anywhere from $8-$10 per hour. I usually need a substitute 2-3 days a week, however, you are in charge of your schedule. You can accept or decline any job that is offered to you.

If you’d like to get on the sub list, please fill out an application with AISD. There is a $50 fee to get a background check and fingerprinting with the district (but it can be taken out of your check).

I truly appreciate the wonderful parents and volunteers we have at Butler. Please consider helping us during this time. Call me if you are interested or if you know anyone who may be interested. And as always, feel free to contact me anytime with questions.
