Scoliosis Screening Starting in November

 

Starting in November, 8th grade students will be screened for Scoliosis; an abnormal side-to-side curvature of the spine.  Curves identified before growth is complete can often be treated.  To exclude your child from being screened for this treatable condition fill out the form found here.

 

 

Homework 911

 

Thursday, December 4th at 6:30 p.m. in room 203 homework help is on the way!!! Parents come and learn about all the resources available to help you help your child with their homework.  Free babysitting and refreshments will be provided.

 

 

Family Math Carnival

 

Thursday, December 11th at 6:30p.m. in the cafeteria Step Right Up! And Improve Your Math Skills!!  Come and join us for some fun and exciting math carnival games and activities.  Refreshments will be provided.

 

Homework Help

 

Need help with homework?  Well - Look no further.  Homework help is here!!!  Monday through Thursday from 8:15-8:45 a.m. and 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the library.  Those staying after school need to arrange transportation promptly at 5:00.

Adult Literacy Classes @ Ferguson

 

The Arlington Independent School District is conducting adult literacy classes at Ferguson Jr. High, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. 

 

Ferguson Students Create Short Film

Ferguson 7th Graders created a short film titled The Life of a 7th Grader at Ferguson Junior High School which was viewed at 6th Grade Orientation on Feb. 28, 2008.
