Gator musicians take seats in AISD All-City and TMEA All-Region ensembles!
Students auditioned against other student musicians from Arlington, Birdville, Fort Worth, H.E.B. and Mansfield ISD's for their spots!

 

Student Council led a school-wide meal drive and helped 20 local families

The "Oldest Living Gunn Gator in captivity" at 94, passed away on April 1, 2007 . He will be missed by family, friends, and over 6000 students, faculty and staff members of Floyd M. Gunn Jr. High School , whose lives he touched over the past 35 years. Mr. Gunn loved coming to the school, seeing the students and teachers, and taking part in the many activities at the school which bears his name. In his honor, we wish to build a memorial, in the form of a new marquee for the front of the building.

In his honor, we have purchased a new marquee with funds raised through your generous contributions to the Floyd M. Gunn Memorial Fund.
