Pin Number:

  • All students have a lunch account with a PIN number.
  • Please help your child practice this number.
  • This account works like a bank account; deposits can be made in the cafeteria in the mornings, or online at www.pamslunchroom.com.
  • A parent block may be used to save your child’s account from “snack abuse”.
  • Please see the cafeteria manager or write a note to arrange a “snack block”.
Seating Arrangements:
  • Students are to sit in designated seats, assigned by the classroom teacher.
  • Once a student has sat down, they will not be allowed to get up. Students should get everything they need for lunch before having a seat.
  • If students need something, they should raise their hand and a cafeteria monitor will assist them.
  • Students are given the opportunity to earn “Free Choice Friday” for good behavior and earned points on their class behavior chart in the cafeteria.
  • “Free Choice Friday” lets students sit anywhere they want to at their class table.

Lunch Guests:

  • All lunch guest and vistors must sign-in in the office and recieve a vistor's pass to enter the cafeteria.
  • Students will sit along one side of the long cafeteria tables.
  • If a student has a guest eating with them, parents/grandparents are asked to sit directly across from their child.
  • If there is not a seat directly across from their child/grandchild, they may move to an empty table with their child/grandchild only.
  • Food brought in by a parent/grandparent is only to be given to their child/grandchild.
  • There cannot be any sharing of food with non-family members.

Lunches:

  • Late lunches (after 8:20) need to be brought to the office.
  • Please label all lunches with the student's first name, last name, and grade level.

Short Meal:

  • “Short Meal” as designated by the cafeteria manager.
  • “Short Meal” is given to a child after two charges on their lunch account after their account has a zero balance.

  • Students clean their lunch eating space… their trash, on the table, and on the floor.
  • Students place (not throw) trash into trash cans.
  • Table washers clean tables as soon as student trays are put away.

Dismissal:

  • After students have disposed of their trash, they will walk to the exit doors of the cafeteria and line up quietly.
  • Students wait quietly in line until their teacher arrives.
  • No running or student will be asked to sit down and practice exiting the appropriate way.
