Mission Statement

This program provides Academic Assistance and Enrichment, Family Involvement, and College and Career Preparation for our students and their families. Our program targets at-risk students to give them the extra academic and personal support they need to be successful in school.

Our ultimate goal in this work is to encourage students and parents to take an active role in education, better equipping those students for their future success.

Hutcheson Junior High's Chaps On The Move 2011-2012 program is up & running. We have enjoyed a fun-filled summer, and now we are returning back to what we expect to be a academically rewarding school year. The program is for all Hutch students and is FREE! Activities will consist of a variety of educational and enriching opportunities for our students. We Would Like To Encourage All Of Our Students To Participate In The Academic & Enrichment Opportunties Offered. Monday-Friday before school (6:00-8:50) and after school (4:00-7:00). Also, If Any High School Students Would Like To Volunteer, Please Contact Ms. Jones.
