Debbie Steele is dedicated to helping students overcome tobacco, alcohol, and other substance abuse problems. She is a licensed chemical dependency counselor and an advanced certified prevention specialist. She believes that family and friends have a major impact in the area of prevention and intervention.

Debbie’s main office is located in Lamar High School. She provides assistance to the students and staff members of Lamar High School, Nichols Junior High, Shackelford Junior High, Butler Elementary, Ellis Elementary, Larson Academy, Pope Elementary, Roquemore Elementary, Sherrod Elementary, Speer Elementary, Webb Elementary, Wimbish Elementary and Kooken Education Center.
