Director of Instructional Technology
Sue has been AISD's Director of Instructional Technology since July of 2000. Prior to joining AISD, she served as the Director of Instructional Technology for Irving ISD. Sue and her husband have been married for 35 years and have one son. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Instructional Technology Specialist
Susan joined ITD in April of 2001 after teaching at Nichols Junior High for several years. She and her husband, David, have two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Gracie. When she has a litle spare time, she enjoys being a Girl Scout Troop Leader, a Sunday School teacher and writing instructional technology books for teachers.

Susan teaches Photoshop, Digital Photography, Discovery Education Streaming, Scrapblog, Video Editing, Google Earth, GPS and oversees the TTCC program.

Katie Favara
Instructional Technology Specialist
Katie came to Instructional Technology in July of 2005. She taught Webmastering and Computer Science for seven years at Sam Houston High and Arlington High. She also served as a Campus Technology Trainer while at Arlington High. Katie's free time is spent as the chauffer for her five children. When free time is available, she enjoys sewing and quilting.

Katie specializes in web development software and supports implementation of individual school web sites. She also supports the High School Technology Applications classes.

Jim Holland
Instructional Technology Specialist
After teaching science at Nichols Junior High since 1994, Jim joined ITD in October of 2000. He is a published author and presents technolgoy sessions at regional, state, national, and international conferences. Jim enjoys reading, writing, playing piano, and spending time with his wife, Becky, and his two children, Jaylee and Jayden. He serves as a youth group leader in his church.

Jim's specialties include Google Apps, Podcasting, CPS, Web 2.0, Windows, Google Earth, GPS, mobile apps, and Print, Cut & Fold.

Gaby joined the IT Department April 1st, 1996 (and that's no April Fools!). Before teaching fourth grade at Ditto Elementary for ten years, she taught Kindergarten in Dallas. In addition to spending time with her grandchildren, Joseph, Tommy Joe, Andres, Nicholas and Sadie, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Milt, to various NASCAR events as well as travelling back to her roots in Germany where she was born and graduated from Mannheim American High School.

Gaby specializes in Power Point, Keyboarding Multimedia, Elementary Internet Resources, KidPix, and Print, Cut & Fold. She also coordinates the Campus Technology Liaison program and the district's technology preview process.

Kenny Pinkerton

Kenny joined ITD in November of 2011 after teaching business at Martin High School for 13 years. Kenny enjoys the  reading, the outdoors and playing soccer. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Pam and his daughter, Nicole.

Kenny specializes in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, TXVSN, and ERO

Deann joined ITD in July of 2004 after teaching 4th grade for 7 years at Swift Elementary. Deann enjoys spending time with her husband, Tommy, and their new baby boy, Camden. In her spare time, she enjoys reading novels, listening to music, and going to see the latest blockbusters.

Instructional Technology Trainer
Jan Caywood came to the Instructional Technology Department in 2002 after spending 8 years at Ditto Elementary as the Campus Technology Manager. Jan enjoys time spent with her husband, John, and their two sons and daughter-in-law. Together they travel and do home remodeling projects. Quilting with friends is another favorite pastime.

Jan specalizes in SASI, Acrobat, ERO, File Management, and TEAMS.

Icle joined the Instructional Technology Department in March 2005 after working at the Counts Administration Building in the Technology department and the Curriculum department for 11 years. Prior to this, she worked as a clerk at Fitzgerald and Corey elementary schools for 4 years. She enjoys working in her church, traveling with her husband, family and friends as well as spending time with her 4 grandchildren.

Icle's focus is TEAMS, TREx and Excel.

Anne began her journey with AISD in 1994 at Hutcheson Jr. High. She worked in the Personnel Department until moving to ITD in 2004. She and Eric enjoy cruising, eating at fabulous restaurants, their seven grandchildren & their great-grandpuppy, Ella! Anne misses living on the East Coast....the water!
