Welcome

Welcome to my website!

I am a new teacher with the Carreer and Technology Department (CTE) at Martin High School.  I hold a teaching certificite in Technology Education as well as B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University.   I worked in industry for four years before becoming a teacher.  Here at Martin, I teach Introduction to Engineering Design (IED) and Aerospace Engineering (AE).  These two classes are a part of the Project Lead the Way® program.

IED is one of three foundation courses in the Project Lead The Way® high school pre-engineering program. The course applies and concurrently develops secondary level knowledge and skills in mathematics, science, and technology.

The AE course is intended to serve as a specialization course within the Project Lead the Way® sequence. The course is structured to enable all students to have a variety of experiences that will provide an overview of the field and be exposed to the various situations that aerospace engineers face in their careers.

As a CTE teacher, I strive to prepare my students for entry into either a related field of employment or a more advanced post secondary training program.
