Welcome

Howdy!
Welcome to my site! I am delighted to be teaching AP English III and Pre-AP English I at Martin High School during this 2011-2012 school year. Through out the year, the students will enhance their ability to close read literature, to write for a variety of purposes, to develop more mature vocabulary, and to think critically.

I graduated from Texas A & M University (Go Ags!) and have been teaching for 19 years. Thirteen years ago, I was fortunate to come to Martin. Since I am an alumni, coming to Martin was like coming home.
