Welcome

I received my Bachelors in Horticulture and Masters of Agriculture at Texas Tech University.  This is my first year teaching and I am thoroughly enjoying it!

My main target/goal is to make sure the students are learning in a fun way as much as possible.  I love animals as my first year students can tell anyone that asks!  We have a class rabbit, a hamster and two pet mice.  I bring a cat to school with me most days.  Students will apply what they have learned by using these animals!  For example, we will learn about trimming nails and the students will then trim the animals' nails themselves.  We also have a greenhouse that the horticulture classes will spend most of their time in learning about plants, diseases, and insects!

I look forward to many more years here as the Martin Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor!
