Welcome to my site! I currently teach English II and English III as well as coach the UIL Spelling and Vocabulary team.

I grew up in Arlington; I myself am a product of the AISD, graduating from Arlington High School. I attended TCU for my bachelor's degree and UTA for a master's degree in English. My husband is a Martin grad, so he finds it amusing that I now teach here - with his former teachers, in some cases!

I enjoy reading, cooking, making jewelry/cards/anything creative, playing The Sims 3, and watching TV and movies in my free time. I live with my husband and our pets dogs (one Shih Tzu, one Cavalier King Charles spaniel, one Westie-mix mutt, and a cat) in a house that is quickly running out of room for us and all our junk!

I keep the site updated daily, barring illness or technological difficulties, so that students and parents may see what the homework is, get a copy of the vocabulary, find extra credit, and more.
