Welcome to Accounting I, Advanced Accounting or CIA. I look forward to a great year.
I have degrees from East Texas State University and have been teaching since 1987. I taught nine years in the Mesquite school district teaching a variety of business subjects including accounting, typing, business math and economics. The rest of my teaching career has been spent at Martin teaching personal finance, MCA, Accounting, BCIS 1, 2 and MOS. I currently teach Accounting I, Advanced Accounting and Computer Information Applications (CIA). I was married for almost 24 years and became a widow in the spring of 2010 when my husband died of pancreatic cancer. I have two teenage children, one of which is in college and the other a student at Martin. We like spending time doing various activities with our church, playing with our boxer, Rocco, and enjoy camping when our schedules allow.
