Application packets for next year's PK3 program will be available at any elementary campus beginning the first week of May.  Since the program has limited space, AISD does have a random selection process in place.  The selection process will be Tuesday, May 17.  Please have your application completed and returned to any campus no later than Monday, May 16 at noon.

Arlington ISD is expanding prekindergarten services into some Day Care Center Locations.  Each of the participating child care centers will house a fully certified Arlington ISD teacher.  For a list of participating child care centers, please click the link on the right.  Children will receive the same 3 hour day and curriculum that is being provided at a campus location.

This expansion will provide additional PK3 classrooms as well as wrap-around child care so that children will not need to travel to and from a campus to a child care center.  Please contact individual child care centers for specific information on registration dates and child care costs.

All students must have updated immunizations prior to enrolling in school.  For more information about which shots are needed follow the link on the right.

Children of active duty military personnel now qualify for PK services.  This includes active duty, uniformed members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force or Coast Guard.  This will also include Activated/Mobilized uniformed members of the Texas National Guard or Activated /Mobilized members of the reserves. Children of military personnel who were killed or injured while on active duty also qualify for PK services. 

The parent or guardian must verify military membership by presenting a Department of Defense photo ID,  an official letter from a commander, Department of Defense death certificate form, or Purple Heart citation.
