AISD's improved recycling program launches August 24!

We're still collecting the same materials, but now it's so much easier. Click on the links below to learn more.

• Commingled  – aluminum, plastic, steel, cardboard

• Paper – school papers, magazines, catalogs, junk mail, etc.

• E-waste – toner/ink cartridges, cell phones, small electronics, batteries

Since July 2008, AISD has recycled:

• 1,525.187 tons of paper
• 104.62 tons of cardboard
• 55.18 tons of plastic & aluminum
• 2 tons of e-waste

Recycling saved the district $118,556.89 in disposal costs.
