Barbara Frausto Resource Aide

I started subbing for AISD in 2012 with Special Ed students. I really enjoy working with them!  They are smart, and some can be independent in some ways. Every student does matter in the school, and they can learn all subjects. I do in-class support for all grades.  I make sure they are on task, read questions, and help students with assignments or projects as needed. I help them take notes or make sure they have done their homework.   I will help any student who asks or needs help in the classroom. The teachers count on me to help them when testing weeks. I monitor the hallways to make sure the students are where they are supposed to be.

I love and enjoy working with all children.   I work at my church Nursery, taking care of parishioners’ children.

I also volunteer at the local Arlington Animal Shelter. I love working and helping the dogs in need in the shelter. I have two dogs of my own.

I am married and have one son who just graduated from UNT for filming. I love to go to the movies, dinners, festivals, museums, garage sales   and on vacation with my family and friends. I have taken some classes at TCC also.
