PTA Life Time Faculty Membership Awards
PTA Meetings at 6:30 PM Parents 411Get your NEW Boles
spirit wear now! All general meetings are held in the Boles Cafeteria.Every week throughout the school year, the PTA distributes to all students a Boles bulletin instead of a monthly newsletter. Last year was our first year to do a weekly bulletin, and the response was overwhelmingly in favor of it. The Bulletin will be given to your child every Thursday, so be sure to ask him/her for it. Included each week will be articles about what's going on at school, athletic updates, booster club news, academic news, calendar of events, etc. We want our junior high parents to be informed, so remember to look for the Blue "Boles Bulletin" every Thursday!
Join PTA!This year, we will need dads during lunch to be a presence in the cafeteria, help with trash, direct students if needed, and be an extra smiling face for our kids. We are asking that you give 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours of your time once a month.
Per AISD policy, you must be an approved volunteer. This year a copy of your driver's license must accompany your volunteer application. The volunteer application is available on the AISD Website ([ http://www.aisd.net/ ]www.aisd.net) under volunteers. Once you have completed the application, please send it with a legible copy of your driver's license to the address on the bottom of the back or 2nd page of the application.
Your presence at Boles will truly make an impact on our kids and help the Boles staff as well.
PTA Bulletin Goes Green
Every week throughout the school year the PTA distributes to all students a newsletter entitled the Boles Bulletin. Included each week will be articles about what’s going on at school, athletic updates, booster club news, academic news, calendar of events, etc.Continuing for the 2011-2012 school year, we are going green with the Boles Bulleting. Please go to www.aisd.net/boles and click on the PTA hyperlink to access the current bulletin. These will be available on Tuesdays of each week. If you would prefer to have a copy of the bulletin emailed directly to you, please send a request to bolesnews@sbcglobal.net to be added to the distribution list.
Volunteer Services If you volunteer in any capacity at Boles Junior High (or any other school in the AISD), you are required to complete a form online. This form is for the 2011-2012 school year, so even if you filled one out for last year, you must do this again. This is done so that we can protect the students of the AISD. All information is kept confidential.
